So now the job isn’t going to start until October 22nd. Apparently they have the paramedic and the nurse (yours truly) lined up but not the internist or the anesthesiologist. I had a feeling this might happen.

To make up for my loss of hours the DON has asked me to come in and and “work on some projects” for her. I have a feeling this is going to be entering nursey-type data into the computer. She mentioned something about “patient safety goals” and “med reconciliation charts,” and my mind started to drift. Boring, I know but hey, I’ll do it. With all of these “cushy” assignments I almost wished I was pregnant again.
